Chemprotex Suit
A one piece Type 3 suit manufactured from Dupont Tychem®TK* to the RILS 0001 specification for Casualty Decontamination (based upon EN466:1995, EN12941:1998 and prEN943-1:2001). All Respirex Chemprotex suits are CE marked.
Incorporates the 3M Jupiter® Turbo Filter Unit for air supply.
Provides an exceptionally high barrier against permeation by most inorganic and organic chemicals.
Product Features
- Highly chemically resistant laminated visor.
- Liquid tight cuffs with attached Silver Shield gloves
- Neoprene outer gloves.
- Integral socks with straight outer legs.
- Internal knitted neck seal.
- 91cm nylon zipper fitted across the chest.
- Overlapping zipper storm flap with self-adhesive strip.
- Twin exhilation valves in the rear of the suit.
- Externally taped seams.
- Sealed in tinted polythene bag.
- 3M Jupiter® Turbo Filter Unit worn internally in back pouch.- Four hour diposable battery with a 10 year shelf life.- Two enhanced breathing air filters.

This product may only be used by fully trained and certified personnel that have attended and successfully completed the approved Respirex Training Course.This garment and it’s associated respiratory equipment is only intended to be used by personnel when handling chemically contaminated patients.Respirex Chemprotex suits and associated respiratory equipment must not be used in areas Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH).
